In our analyses, we regularly examine current movements, identify possible influencing factors and assess the general market situation. However, these are not recommendations, but merely opinions and food for thought.
Hello dear readers!
Below you will find the current indicators for the world equity indices. To read them correctly, please note the following:
The ‘Smart/Dumb Investors’ indicates whether the more greedy investors are accumulating or distributing. It can basically be understood as a ‘contrarian indicator’. Extreme values on the positive side (accumulation) as well as the negative side (distribution) are possible points for action.
The ‘strength indicator’ shows how many of five different indicators are bullish. The more, the greener, the better. The ‘trend of strength line’ must also be observed.
S&500 - massive distribution, should bring a counter-reaction (technical recovery).
The strength indicator currently seems to suggest that it will remain a technical recovery - not a new rally. The next few days will bring more clarity...
The same picture for the European Stoxx 600 Index: a technical recovery possible, but no more...
UK equities have shown the most strength recently. No real distribution to follow yet...
Even if, of course, UK equities have not been able to completely escape the selling pressure of the global equity markets...
A stronger distribution also in German equities...
also in the longer-term trend strength has decreased more strongly...
Distribution also in French equities...
But the trend strength seems to have bottomed out soon... The next favorite among Europeans?
Swiss equities have also been showing massive distribution for around a month...
... which will soon (and temporarily?) come to an end???
The Tokyo stock market seems to have already achieved a turnaround to a technical recovery...
At any rate, the strength of the trend does not yet promise anything more than a recovery...
In China, too, the hard times for equity investors seem to be getting better again. At the moment, however, there is still a slight distribution...
However, the trend strength seems to be gaining strength again...
That’s it for today!
